Privacy Policy
This notice explains personal information associated with visiting softwaterguidebook.com and contacting its publisher. It also explains the advertising technology installed on the site. Advertising availability depends on Google’s review and the visitor’s choices.
1. Website operator and contact
Luis García operates Soft Water Guidebook and is responsible for the website’s own processing of personal information. For privacy requests, contact:
Luis GarcíaCalle Alonso Céspedes Guzman 4

Email: hola@luisgarciamarketingdigital.com
2. Information and purposes
- Messages: when you email us, we receive your address, message, name if supplied, and attachments. We use these to answer enquiries and investigate editorial corrections.
- Technical requests: hosting and security services process request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser details and security events to deliver and protect the site.
- Privacy preferences: consent services store and process your choices and relevant technical information to present privacy controls and record decisions.
- Advertising: Google advertising technology can process online identifiers, device information and ad-related activity, according to the applicable choices, service operation and advertising availability.
Please do not email passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information. Contact is by email; the site does not offer a repair-booking service or a newsletter subscription.
3. Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests to operate and secure the site, answer ordinary enquiries and maintain accurate content; consent for optional technologies and personalization where required; and applicable legal obligations for compliance records and legal requests. Advertising providers describe their own purposes and legal bases in the advertising privacy interface and their notices.
You can refuse optional choices. Withdrawing consent affects future consent-based processing and does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing.
4. Advertising and Google services
The site includes the Google AdSense tag. Its presence does not mean the site has been approved or that every visitor sees an ad. When advertising is available, Google and participating providers may use cookies, identifiers or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalization based on activity on this and other sites.
Use Privacy and cookie settings when displayed to review Google’s advertising choices, purposes and partner list. Select Do not consent to refuse optional advertising consent or Manage options to review individual purposes and providers. Reopen Privacy and cookie settings at the foot of the page to change or withdraw your choice. Google’s consent message is the site’s advertising consent interface.
Google Analytics visitor measurement is not part of the public-page setup identified in the October 16 review. This notice does not claim that Analytics cookies are currently installed. Any later activation requires updated information and appropriate consent configuration.
Read how Google uses information from partner sites. You can also manage Google ad personalization through My Ad Center and participating-provider choices through YourAdChoices. These do not replace this site’s privacy controls or necessarily remove every ad. Non-personalized advertising is not automatically exempt from storage or consent requirements.
5. Service providers and international processing
The site uses Namecheap hosting, email services to handle correspondence, Google services for advertising and advertising privacy messages. Providers may act as processors or independent controllers according to the service and purpose. External source links lead to sites with their own practices.
Providers may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where GDPR transfer restrictions apply, the relevant transfer requires an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards. Contact us for information about a particular provider or applicable safeguards. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
6. Retention
We keep correspondence for the enquiry and any necessary follow-up or legal claims. Technical records are retained for operational and security purposes; preference records are retained to remember decisions and support compliance. Retention depends on the record and service, not simply a cookie’s expiry. Google’s consent interface states that its FCCDCF preference cookie can last up to 390 days; browser deletion or restrictions can shorten this. This preference duration is not a universal retention period for advertising or other provider data. Contact us about a specific record or erasure request.
7. Your rights
Where applicable, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to legitimate-interest processing, and withdraw consent. Rights depend on the processing and law. Email the address above with enough detail to identify the request; proportionate identity verification may be needed.
You can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or another competent authority. Where a US state privacy law applies, additional rights can include opting out of targeted advertising or sale/sharing as those laws define them. Use the advertising privacy settings where offered and contact us about your request.
8. Security, changes and related notice
No online system is completely secure. We review this notice when services or processing change. For cookie categories and available controls, read the Cookie Policy. For an editorial question, see Contact.
